It’s the 1920’s in Chicago at the height of the mafia’s stranglehold on the city. In the midst of the battle between rival families, one of the family bosses has been murdered! Suspects abound from both the murdered boss' crime syndicate as well as from rival families. Everyone is a potential suspect, even his wife and secret mistress!
The lead detective that was working the case has disappeared as he was getting too close to unveiling the two killers' identities. With pressure from a corrupt Mayor's office who was known to associate with the slain crime boss, the chief has assigned your team to pick up the case to try and solve this before the killers leave town.
HOW TO PLAY
This is an online elimination-style game where you will have to review and go through all of the evidence that the missing detective had compiled before disappearing. This evidence will all be in PDF format that you will view through your web browser on a smartphone or computer. You will also use pictures of the suspects to help you correlate each one to a piece of evidence or clue. All of the evidence and suspect pictures will be located on a website whose address you will be given when the game starts. Each member of your team can either use a smartphone or computer to review the evidence and suspects. There will be a form on that site that you will submit when you know who the killers are. Teams are limited to up to 4 people, please be honest and abide by this to keep the game fair for all.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
You will need to be connected to the internet (preferably on WIFI). For the pregame and postgame portion of the game you will be sent a Zoom link where we all will gather for the instructions. After we go over what we will be doing, you will be shown a link to the game's website. At that point, simply type that link into your web browser to begin. We will then mute everyone in Zoom and the game will start.
There will be a time limit to the game so when you have your suspect guesses, turn them in as the first team to successfully submit the right answer will win the game. We will wait until time expires before revealing the winner.
